Returns & Refund Policy
At SM Creative Studio LLC, customer satisfaction is important to us. Many of our products are handmade, custom-made, and personalized, so please review our return and refund policy carefully before placing your order.
Handmade Product Disclaimer
Most of our products are handmade and crafted individually, which means each piece is unique.
Due to the handmade nature of our items, slight variations in wood grain, color, engraving depth, paint application, sizing, and overall appearance may occur. These natural variations are not considered defects and are part of the character and uniqueness of each item.
Product photos are provided as close representations, but the final product may vary slightly from the images shown.
Returns
We accept returns on non-custom, non-personalized, and non-made-to-order items within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return:

The item must be unused and in its original condition

The item must be returned in its original packaging

Proof of purchase is required
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

Limited-time, seasonal, or special-release items
Due to the custom and limited-availability nature of these items, all sales are final once production has begun or the item has been purchased.
What Is Considered a Custom or Personalized Product?
For the purpose of this policy, a custom or personalized product includes any item that is modified, created, or produced specifically for a customer request, including but not limited to:

Custom engraving (names, dates, quotes, logos, etc.)

Personalized text or wording

Custom sizing or dimensions

Custom paint colors or stain selections

Design modifications or alterations to an existing product

Customer-requested image uploads or file submissions

Business logos or branded items

Special material requests or substitutions

Bulk or event-specific custom orders (weddings, parties, business events, etc.)

Any product requiring customer approval before production
Once production has started or materials have been prepared specifically for a custom order, the item is considered final sale and is not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or there is an error on our part.
What Is Considered a Made-to-Order Product?
For the purpose of this policy, a made-to-order product includes any item that is created, assembled, finished, or produced after an order is placed and is not kept as ready-to-ship inventory.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Products manufactured only after purchase

Handmade items created per order

Items requiring production, assembly, or finishing time before shipment

Products made in selected material, stain, paint, or finish options

Products produced in selected size variations

Layered art pieces produced after purchase

Laser-cut items produced after purchase

Engraved items prepared after purchase

Seasonal or limited-production inventory created in small batches

Products listed with production or processing times
Made-to-order items may or may not be personalized. Because these items are produced specifically to fulfill an order, they are considered final sale once production has started and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless they arrive damaged, defective, or there is an error on our part.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 5 business days of delivery.

Clear photos of the damaged or defective item
We will review the issue and, if approved, may offer a replacement, repair, refund, or store credit at our discretion.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided production has not started.
Once production begins on custom, personalized, or made-to-order items, cancellations cannot be accepted.
Refunds & Store Credit
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval or denial of your refund.
If approved:

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, or
-
Store credit may be issued in place of a refund, depending on the circumstances of the return
Store credit may also be offered for approved returns, exchanges, or customer satisfaction resolutions and will be valid toward any future purchase with SM Creative Studio LLC.
Store credit is non-transferable, has no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or if an error was made on our part.
If you need an exchange, please contact us for approval.
Incorrect Custom Information
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving custom order details, including names, dates, spelling, sizing, and design selections before final production.
SM Creative Studio LLC is not responsible for customer-submitted errors once approved.
